Why I had to move forward with my branding.
As you will have seen very recently, both Sásta Wear and Gërd Anthony brands have been given new logos. A few weeks ago, we engaged the help of one of the world's leading logo illustrators, Illesso, based in the UK. They are responsible for designing many of the world leading brand logos - and we believe we made a very smart move when picking them to redesign our logos.
“For me to hear this, was shocking. He was I, thinking the Sásta Wear 'S' logo was the best logo going - some customers agreed, but the experts didn't. When they recommended I do a rebrand with new logos etc., I have to admit, it was nerve-wracking.”
Nerve Wracking Move
I'm sure many of you will say I'm insane, the Sásta Wear logo was doing just fine, some even might say it was iconic. I really appreciate those sentiments, but truth be told, Sásta Wear became stale, and needed a shake up to encourage more sales.
At one point, you'll remember, Sásta Wear became so stale, that I had it up for sale, reluctantly.
So, after taking Sásta Wear back off the market, I had to decide how I can make the brand more attractive to current and new potential customers. I engaged a lot of help from marketing people. They all encouraged a total overhaul of my branding.
I have to admit, for me to hear this, was shocking. He was I, thinking the Sásta Wear 'S' logo was the best logo going - some customers agreed, but the experts didn't. When they recommended I do a rebrand with new logos etc., again, I have to admit, it was nerve-wracking.
So here we are, now, with two new logos. The remit for the logos was straightforward for the designer. For Sásta Wear, it was simply - "please make us an iconic, American-style, Hip-Hoppy streetwear logo." After all, it is an urban streetwear brand. We understood that this was not easy. Most of our customers are adults, after all. So, we believe the designer has made a logo that would suit everyone - children, teenagers and adults alike.
With Gërd Anthony, we had another straightforward remit to give to the designer. "Please design us a classy, high-end and iconic logo that would suit any garments from baseball caps to stylish shirts. We believe he has designed us a special logo.
Both logos are seen below - why don't you sign up to our mailing list at www.sastawear.com/contact and tell us what you think, please.
